🚨Brooklands Parkrun Volunteer Takeover🚨

42 members of our club headed to Brooklands parkrun this weekend, taking on 45 different volunteer roles, from barcode scanning and timekeeping to pacing fellow runners to PBs. It was a brilliant morning giving back to our local Parkrun and we loved supporting everyone, as well as meeting some potential new members!

Well done to our latest Couch to 5k graduates, who completed the full distance at Bushy Parkrun this weekend after finishing our 10 week programme 👏

Ironman 70.3 🏊🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

A massive well done to Amy for completing the Ironman 70.3 in Greece this weekend, finishing an incredible 3rd in her age category! 🥉👏

What a weekend… where do we even begin!? 🏃‍♀️🌍

Bella kicked things off in Japan, travelling two hours to take on the Oyodogawa Shiminryokuchi Parkrun 🇯🇵 whilst 34 other club members kept it more local 🌳

We had runners tackling one of the ‘Super Six’ half marathons in Lisbon, plus brilliant groups at both the River Thames Half and Maidenhead Half, with plenty of new PBs to celebrate! 🎉

Finally a huge shoutout to Amy, who smashed the IM 70.3 in Greece, finishing an incredible 3rd in her age group! 🥉💪

A stunning day in Richmond Park saw 22 of our club members tackle the 8.5km / 6.6km cross country course ☀️🦌

Cross country isn’t just about the run, it’s a brilliant way to spend the afternoon cheering on teammates and enjoying the atmosphere.
With three more matches between now and February, there’s still plenty of time to get involved. Keen to join? Reach out to your team captains!
