We visit a different parkrun once a month - today it was Battersea's turn.

It was the perfect location to celebrate two of our club members on their 300th & 25th parkruns with some obligatory cake & liquid refreshment

In the early hours of 26th April an intrepid gang of Elmbridge Road Runners headed into London to run the reverse London Marathon route.

A range of distance options - full marathon, half marathon, 10K - coupled with a nice chatty pace meant there was something for everybody, resulting in another great turnout.

All topped off with a hearty breakfast and the chance to cheer our club members running the main event. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Brighton Marathon is always a popular event for us, and this year was even bigger and better with the introduction of a trail version for those in search of even more hills & wind!

Fantastic running from everyone, next stop - London!

Our latest couch to 5k group didn’t let a bit of wind and rain hold them back this morning at the home of parkrun!

We are so proud of all that they have achieved over the last 10 weeks; topped off with a commemorative shield, membership of Elmbridge (and of course some 🍰)

Eleven Thursday track group regulars did some parkrun tourism today at Woking.

Sunshine, coffee, pastries and two PBs...

A great club turnout and morning’s running in the sun - followed by coffee, cake and bacon baps, sure why not!

This beautiful riverside 10K has been running for over 40 years now and is a lovely local atmospheric event for both clubs and non-affiliated runners.

Every July some 700 runners descend on Walton-on-Thames to enjoy this fast, flat and scenic race along the Thames – starting and finishing on the Xcel Sport Hub's running track, and taking in the Thames towpath and surrounding roads.

After what seems like the wettest winter ever, we finally had our first warm and sunny track session of 2026. Twenty one members ran 7 x 3 minute intervals with 45 second recoveries and for the first time in ages didn't complain about the cold, wind, rain and snow.

Why not try one of our track sessions before deciding whether to join the club? Just come along to the Xcel Sport Hub track at 10am on Thursdays and say hello. Or alternatively 7pm on Wednesdays.

On 10th January we hosted Match 3 of the Surrey Cross Country League. 837 runners from over 40 clubs came together for a wonderful day’s racing in Oxshott Woods.

42 members of our club headed to Brooklands parkrun this weekend, taking on 45 different volunteer roles, from barcode scanning and timekeeping to pacing fellow runners to PBs. It was a brilliant morning giving back to our local parkrun and we loved supporting everyone, as well as meeting some potential new members! Our next takeover is already in the diary for June 2026!
