Our Thursday daytime track sessions started just over two years ago and have continued to increase in popularity.

Today we had a record 25 members running 10 x 2 minutes with 1 minute recoveries.

If you'd like to come along, we meet every Thursday morning at 10am at the Xcel Sports Hub in Walton-on-Thames.

Our next C25K course starts on Tuesday 3rd February. The 10-week guided programme consists of weekly training sessions leading up to a 5K “graduation” parkrun.

On 10th January we hosted match 3 of the Surrey Cross Country League. 837 runners from over 40 clubs came together for a wonderful day’s racing in Oxshott Woods.

On Saturday 13th December we got into the Christmas spirit at our annual Christmas party, which this year was held at Warren Lodge Hotel in Shepperton.

Members and their partners enjoyed a festive three course festive meal, our club captains gave some great speeches, we presented some of our annual trophies and then the DJ kicked off the dancing.

A great turnout for the penultimate Thursday track session before Christmas. 19 runners for a beautifully sunny session and then 13 for brunch at Bomonti in West Molesey.

Good food, good company and lots of Christmas jumpers...

42 members of our club headed to Brooklands parkrun this weekend, taking on 45 different volunteer roles, from barcode scanning and timekeeping to pacing fellow runners to PBs. It was a brilliant morning giving back to our local parkrun and we loved supporting everyone, as well as meeting some potential new members! Our next takeover is already in the diary for June 2026!

Well done to our latest Couch to 5K graduates who completed the full distance at Bushy parkrun this weekend following the 10 week course. A big thank you to Katherine and Stan for leading the programme.

Check out BBC Radio Surrey's morning show from 18th October where you’ll hear our very own Neil Cole sharing his story live from Brooklands parkrun on what parkrun means to him. The 18th also marked Neil's 50th run at Brooklands (not to mention an incredible 426 Parkruns overall).

Amy completed the Ironman 70.3 in Greece, finishing an incredible 3rd in her age category. The 70.3 includes a 1.2mile swim, 56mile bike ride & 13.1mile run - well done Amy.

A club favourite, 22 members completed the wonderful 10mile race which starts in Twickenham before running parallel with the River Thames to Kingston and back along the river. Great results from all!

An amazing well done to Stan who ran 125miles from Weybridge to Stroud over 8 days, raising money for his wonderful granddaughter’s school. Stan finished the challenge on 15th September where he celebrated with his granddaughter. All at the club are extremely proud of Stan, what an amazing achievement for a great cause.

Well done to Zoe who broke the Guinness World record for the fastest marathon by a mascot (female) at the 2025 TCS London Marathon, completing the race in 3 hours 19 minutes. Zoe set the record dressed as Bernie the Lion, raising money for the Dear Toby Trust. Check out page 11 of the 2026 Guinness World Records book to see Zoe featured!
